13 happens on a machine that I manage for my father on different continent.

15 I am afraid that if I do this all the settings for the desktop will
16 disappear, he will not know how to set this up, and I also won't know
17 since I don't understand the gnome configuration files. I will do it as
18 a last resort, but I would rather understand what happens, and fix it.
