I've just sync'ed and asked emerge what it would update: |

Showed nothing. Okay, evrything up to daet. |

emerge --deep --newuse --update --tree --pretend world |

showed several packages. |

So what does it actually do ? Rebuild certain packages if others |

they depend on had been updated ? |
