25 Because kmail-1.13.7 is still the last stable version in portage and when I
26 tried kmail-2 on another box I could never get it to work properly with
27 sqlite3. Kmail-2 really screwed up my messages (creating duplicates and being
28 unable to delete them, not showing IMAP4 folders, or their content, etc.) so I
29 steered away from trying to upgrade for good, or at least until kmail-1 is no
30 longer supported.

32 I did try to learn how to use mutt, but I found that it was getting in the way
33 big time when I had to use s/mime and gnupg for signing/encrypting messages -
34 trying to remember what the serial number of a certificate is for each
35 recipient is a bit too much even for a console application.
