33 Quite no experience (no need) with kernel-boot options, but just some
34 suggestions:
35 acpi=off
36 doapm (requires acpi=off) - IMHO optional
37 hda=stroke (older BIOS hard-disk handling)
38 ide=nodma (just to be safe when installing)
39 noapic (caused problems on older HW)
40 nodetect (skip any errors while detecting HW) - have to know all your HW
41 check other noXXXX options, which only disable selected features
42 nolapic
43 scandelay
44 scandelay=X (X seconds)
45 All the options are in install disk root's dir in README.txt
