I had never needed Gtk-engines-qt previously,
but yesterday after upgrading Gtk+ I found Konqueror's fonts had gone wrong
-- I favor New Century Schoolbook for serif texts --
& the G-e-q turned out to be what I needed to fix them
(I remembered a previous Holly Hint : smile).
I can't understand what the relationship is, but it did work.
This is with a KDE 3.5 desktop & apps + Gtk stuff when useful.
