Well, if you are a website visitor the whole wide world is your oyster and BBC |

ought to cater for this (within reason). They have messed up big time, |

spending millions!!! of GBP to develop a MS Windows only media player (MS |

Windows binary) and have received wide criticism about it. Now they are |

trying to squirm out of their obligations as a *public* broadcaster, by |

claiming that they don't need to address the needs of the "few hundred" Linux |

visitors. Not on! I suggest that if you are a *nix BBC web site visitor of |

any flavour you are entitled to express your views on the matter and this |

petition is one way of doing so. |
