Hi. I seem to have a strange situation where a package block itself |
2 |
or that is the way it seems. |
3 |
|
4 |
If I try to do emerge gnupg this is what I get. |
5 |
emerge gnupg |
6 |
>>> cfg-update-1.8.0-r3 : No new packages have been emerged, checksum |
7 |
>index OK... |
8 |
|
9 |
These are the packages that would be merged, in order: |
10 |
|
11 |
Calculating dependencies... done! |
12 |
[ebuild U ] dev-libs/libksba-0.9.15 [0.9.14] 481 kB |
13 |
[ebuild NS ] app-crypt/gnupg-1.4.6 USE="X ldap nls readline zlib |
14 |
-bindist -bzip2 -curl -ecc -idea (-selinux) -smartcard -static -usb" |
15 |
LINGUAS="-ru" 0 kB |
16 |
[ebuild U ] app-crypt/gnupg-1.9.21 [1.9.20-r3] USE="X ldap nls |
17 |
-gpg2-experimental (-selinux) -smartcard (-caps%)" 1,858 kB |
18 |
[blocks B ] app-crypt/gnupg (is blocking |
19 |
app-crypt/gnupg-1.9.20-r3) |
20 |
|
21 |
Total: 3 packages (2 upgrades, 1 in new slot, 1 block), Size of |
22 |
downloads: 2,338 kB |
23 |
|
24 |
!!! Error: The above package list contains packages which cannot be |
25 |
installed |
26 |
!!! at the same time on the same system. |
27 |
|
28 |
Now if I do equery list on gnupg this is what I get. |
29 |
[I--] [M ] app-crypt/gnupg-1.9.20-r3 (1.9) |
30 |
|
31 |
Does this meanthat I already have 1.9.20-r3 on the system already? |
32 |
And if so how do I resolve the block? |
33 |
|
34 |
Any assistance would be appreciated. |

Your life is like a penny. You're going to lose it. The question is: |
38 |
How do |
39 |
you spend it? |
