Hi. |
5 |
|
6 |
AMD has had better engineers than Intel all the time. Intel just had the money. |
7 |
A few years ago the CIO from Intel advised engineers to be more creative. So AMD |
8 |
will stay ahead of the pack and if they find the right way (actually they're |
9 |
going the right way -> open specifications) the competition is going on. |
10 |
I hope that nVidia won't acquire AMD. |
11 |
In fact atm. there is no measurable performance difference weather in IU nor in |
12 |
FPU operations, however AMD has a better performance/price. |
13 |
In HPCs AMD beats Intel because they don't use obsolete FSB. I am looking |
14 |
forward to the new CPU architecture where GPU and CPU find together. |
15 |
|
16 |
I am using Intel technology because chipset, wlan, bluetooth and so on are |
17 |
working great together, although there is no HypterTransport. Intel is going to |
18 |
follow AMD because they have the money. |

department. |
