13 You probably have tried it already, but what gives when you remove
14 your /etc/X11/xorg.conf completely? You can create/modify your .fdi file as
15 per the upgrade guide.

17 Also, check that you only have xf86-video-r128 emerged and not xf86-video-ati
18 and that you don't have any duplicate entries for radeon, ati, fglrx and what
19 have you in your VIDEO_CARDS within /etc/make.conf.
