5 You should probably just refer to your previous thread, because all
6 the same info still applies. You need to mask gentoo-sources and
7 unmask the versions you want to install if you don't want updates.

9 virtual/linux-sources is not a slotted package, and thus does not
10 depend on any slotted kernel sources.

12 emerge -u updates dependencies to the latest usable version, does not
13 matter if you have any already installed.
