17 I made some time to revisit this problem and found that kworker/0:2 was pegged
18 at 100% CPU. Google advised this is a kernel bug, according to this report at
19 least and disabling the corresponding interrupt (gpe16 in my case) appears to
20 have brought the overheating under control:
