10 The thing I'm confused about is how I can get anything back to the
11 laptop when it won't even have an OS on it. I could boot a LiveCD but
12 I don't think I'll be able to connect to the wireless network. The
13 laptop's card is a madwifi/ath0. When booted into the LiveCD, lspci
14 does recognize the card but there is no net.ath0 interface. I don't
15 have any ethernet connectivity to the Gentoo router since I don't have
16 a crossover cable.
