1 Hi, I had the same problem. Managed to solve it following way:
2 1. make sure that skype process not running
3 2. Backup your ~home/.skype and than delete it.
4 3. Start skype normally.

6 This way you loose all history which was stored on your PC, but skype runs
7 normally. You can restore chats history from backup you made earlier.
