Hi, |
2 |
|
3 |
I dont know what is responsible...but yesterday I was able |
4 |
to watch dvb-t broadcasts, this morning: nothing . |
5 |
|
6 |
Before I throw away my receiver card, I would like to know, whether |
7 |
there are ways to proof, whether my card goes to heaven or something |
8 |
else, less fatal, goes wrong. |
9 |
|
10 |
lspci show me (beside other things of course): |
11 |
|
12 |
00:0b.0 Multimedia video controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Video Capture (rev 11) |
13 |
00:0b.1 Multimedia controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Audio Capture (rev 11) |
14 |
|
15 |
I have not changed my kernel configuration and with this |
16 |
configuration I was able to receive dvb.t broadcasts. |
17 |
|
18 |
There are no /dev/dvb/* entries anymore. |
19 |
|
20 |
I added those by hand, but after a reboot they are all gone. |
21 |
|
22 |
Is there any chance to check whether the card or something else goes |
23 |
wrong ? |
24 |
|
25 |
System: |
26 |
Bt878 based DVB-T receiver card without mpeg2 decoder. |
27 |
Linux 2.6.17.8 vanilla kernel sources. |
28 |
Asus AV8 mobo |
29 |
AMD X2 64 3800+ CPU |
30 |
|
31 |
Thank you very much for any help in advance! |
32 |
Kind regards, |
33 |
