5 Yeah, it's just that I normally use my non-root account lsauron,
6 however, I sometimes will open a Xnest window and come in as root for
7 this or that, so I want to ensure that the same things work for both
8 user accounts.

10 I think that by now I'm down to just how to compile and update my
11 kernel with the ACPI stuff enabled. I don't think that the last time
12 I tried that it worked, because it still tells me (KDE's Control
13 Centre) that ACPI support is not compiled into the kernel and that I
14 need to recompile with that stuff in the kernel.
