63 I just upgraded three gentoo boxes using gcc-4.2.2. No issues, aside from a
64 few packages that refuse to compile.

66 What I would recommend is some basic maintenance... Sorry, but is it possible
67 you are seeing heat related issues? Perhaps memory errors?
