If I stumble across a BUG() or OOPS, I can go straight to lkml and |

report it, without somebody saying 'try to reproduce it with a plain |

linux kernel'. Also, the less patches the smaller the chance that |

somebody introduced some arcane incompatibility. Important if you are |

inclined to use third party drivers or out of tree file systems. |

Also, gentoo-sources never gave me anything I did miss with vanilla |

sources. So why using them? |
