Half wrong. sysvinit and <baselayout-1.11 both contain init(3). sysvinit |

should not be used unless baselayout is upgraded to the testing version as |

well. If init(3) is missing (which it shouldn't be if my instructions were |

followed correctly) the solution is to reemerge baselayout. |
