correct, though I think its hunspell. For some reason gentoos install |
2 |
disables OO's native spell checker and wants to use an external one - |
3 |
Its performance (finding errors) sucks compared to the original but I |
4 |
havent had time find how to restore the original behaviour. Yesterday I |
5 |
found that none of the thesaurus are working as well - now I need to |
6 |
find out how (or if) I can enable that ... |
7 |
|
8 |
I thought policy was to use upstreams as much as possible and not go |
9 |
reconfigure things in a non-standard way. If I'm wrong, its because I |
10 |
couldn't find any documentation on what to do and it was an email on |
11 |
this list that helped me sort the spellcheck out originally. |

Another annoyance is that you cant select personal dictionaries and have |
14 |
them stay selected. Every time I start OO I have to go and reconfigure |
15 |
the user dictionaries available - wonder if this a side effect of the |
16 |
changes? |
