1 My take on Dales question - how do we tell the hooks are in use? -
2 config file somewhere, utility we can run? - or should they be marked
3 executable?

5 It looks to me like various apps are installing to that directory as
6 well and are in use ... maybe? I presume its only those 3 scripts that
7 are affected but it would be nice to have enough to detail to know there
8 is a problem or not that needs investigating.
