10 Previous posts on this list indicate that there is no upgrade path from

13 The correct method is to reinstall.

15 Apparently it's not as simple as "emerge -e world" as that would involve
16 building a 64 bit toolchain and system libs with a 32 bit compiler,
17 which doesn't work. If I have the details wrong, I'm sure someone will
18 come along soon and correct me.
