10 If you're monitoring teenagers or employees for inappropriate behaviour you might be happy with a screen shot every 1 - 5 minutes, so you could just use some kind framebuffer grabber (media-gfx/fbgrab?) and a cronjob. You could stitch those together daily into a speeded up video for easier review (you might be able to do this with mencoder, just by slowing the capture framerate down to once every 60 - 300 seconds) or compile the whole lot into a page of HTML to scroll through.
