10 A couple of things to investigate:

12 1. Make sure that the first line of /etc/adjtime contains very small
13 values. In fact, you might just want to replace the first line with
14 "0.0 0 0.0".

16 2. Take a look at the clock= settings in
17 /usr/src/linux/Documentation/kernel-parameters.txt. Maybe you need
18 clock=pit.
