*My system:* |
2 |
I use the latest stable version of KDE, ivman, hal, and dbus. |
3 |
|
4 |
In /etc/fstab I say that /dev/sda1 must be mounted on /mnt/usb, and can be |
5 |
unmounted by any user.. |
6 |
|
7 |
*Where I am: |
8 |
*Everytime I insert a USB Stick in my computer, ivman automatically creates |
9 |
a /dev/sdN1, where N can be any letter, and mounts it in /media/KINGSTON or |
10 |
in /media/KINGSTON1. I can't predict the letter (N value) nor if the media |
11 |
will be mounted on KINGSTON or KINGSTON1. |
12 |
|
13 |
When I open Konqueror, enter media:/, select the media folder related to the |
14 |
memory stick, this KINGSTON driver appears there. |
15 |
|
16 |
Only root can unmount this USB file system. |
17 |
|
18 |
*Where I wanna go:* |
19 |
I wanna create a link on my desktop for easy access to this USB Stick. And I |
20 |
want to unmount this driver using a common user. I have followed ivman wiki |
21 |
page from top to bottom, but I still can't do this. |
22 |
|
23 |
Thanks in advance. |
