Subject: [gentoo-user] Strange bash hashes

Message-Id: 200703261900.16850.shrdlu@unlimitedmail.org
# hash
hits command
7 /usr/bin/rm
1 /usr/bin/cat
2 /usr/bin/mv
1 /usr/bin/mkdir
6 /usr/bin/ls

of course, issuing any of these commands from the command line fails.
I know that "hash -r" will fix things, but I wonder why they have been
hashed with the /usr/bin path in the first place.
Has anyone run into the same problem?
