3 since upgrading Xorg to 7.2 and xorg-server to 1.3.0 and xf86-video-i810
4 to 2.1.0 I have video problems.

6 xf86-video-i810 2.1.0 crashed my computer always when i switched to a
7 console. After upgrading to xf86-video-i810 2.1.1 these crashes
8 disappeared but I have problems running xine and beryl. Xine is very
9 slow and beryl sometimes crashes.

11 I think it has to do with the allocation of video ram but I don't
12 understand how it is handled now.

14 With the older driver one could assign memory to the card via the
15 VideRam xorg config.

17 But this does not work anymore and should be handled automatically by
18 the driver (see manpage).

20 If using xine in beryl it throws a "badalloc" error when used with xv
21 (like in http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-515572.html) but
22 the solution described there does not work.

24 Even when running xine without beryl (in fluxbox) I can't watch video in
25 fullscreen mode. Mplayer also has problems.

27 Does anybody know where the problem could be?
