12 I don't use localmodconfig to know its quirks, but as I understand it you
13 should use it with a LiveCD which has *already* probed the card and loaded the
14 module that you are interested in. You can check with lsmod that the module
15 in question has been loaded.

17 It goes without saying that it is safer if you have added/powered on the
18 hardware before you boot with the LiveCD.

20 Alternatively, use make xconfig or menuconfig and enable each kernel item in
21 the list shown above the module that you are interested in.
