10 I would run mumble with strace to see where it's looking when it aborts.
11 I expect it probably looks in quite a few directories for a certain file
12 or files, and doesn't find what it's looking for.

14 Also, does mumble have config files in /etc or your ~ directory? Try
15 moving them out of the way and see what happens.
