Subject: [gentoo-user] Xorg server wants acpid daemon?
Date: Sun, 25 Nov 2012 02:08:09

1 I'm running an NVIDIA GT218 [GeForce 210] add-on video card on 32-bit
2 Gentoo with xorg-server-1.13.0-r1. It appears to be looking for acpid,
3 according to the Xorg.0.log. "rc-update show" doesn't show anything
4 resembling acpid. Would this have any impact on X performance or
5 stability? It appears to run OK.
