any live CD should do (even the gentoo live cd?) - just run `lspci`, |

then come back here with the results! If they're friendly, you can even |

go back and forth with a usb-key and try compiling things on it, or |

installing binary drivers (if you want to go that way). all on your |

live-cd of course. |
