9 By far the easiest way to get IE running is to use ies4linux:

12 It runs under regular wine, and creates a new fake windows dir to
13 install into, leaving your normal ~/.wine strrictly alone. By default
14 it installs IE5, 5.5 and 6 but you can select which discrete versions

17 Debugging something in wine (or crossover) requires command line and
18 channels to be set so you can see what's happening. You are likely to
19 get better results from the wine mailing list (www.winehq.org) than
