Hi everybody,

Have a defunct 128M USB MP3 player. I'm told that it
can be restored by jumpering two of the i/o pins on
the memory chip in the device and then re-installing
the firmware.

Anybody had experience with this?

Here's dmesg, the mouse is OK.
