8 If your "modem" is connect by Ethernet, then it's probably a
9 router/modem/switch combo device. Those don't even need drivers. You
10 just go to its IP and configure it there and Linux will get internet
11 access through Ethernet.

13 If it's a USB-only device, then it's a simple modem and you will have to
14 pray there are Linux drivers for it.
