34 I just noticed the problem, so I'm not sure when it started (I don't use
35 the drive on it much).

37 It turns out that we only need to load the ide_cd module at boot time
38 and the dev will show up. It will show up whenever we load the module,
39 but it was causing confusion by not being there after a reboot.

41 Someday I need to read up on udev, hal, hot- and cold-plug and how they
42 all interact with the system nowadays...
