Subject: [gentoo-user] recent update broke meld
Date: Mon, 15 Sep 2008 05:41:15
Message-Id: gaksgs$8pf$
1 After updating, meld no longer works. When started with no
2 command parameters, it works fine. When started with two file
3 names this happens:
5 # meld /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf /etc/ssmtp/._cfg0000_ssmtp.conf
6 ImportError: could not import bonobo.ui
8 (meld:7012): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
9 Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.
10 Traceback (most recent call last):
11 File "/usr/bin/meld", line 109, in <module>

23 How does one go about figuring out what needs to be re-emerged
24 when stuff like this breaks after an update?
