6	PORTDIR shouldn't be used; it has been deprecated in favour of the `location`
7	attribute in repos.conf. See bug #546210 and [1]. Anyway, modern systems should
8	really migrate to /var/db/repos just for the sake of uniformity across the
9	Gentoo community.
