8 The usual advice I've seen on this list is to boot your machine from a linux
9 rescue CD or installation CD and do lspci -k from there, because the correct
10 kernel driver should already be loaded automatically during the boot.

12 Once you know which driver to use, build your own kernel to use the same driver.
