Even worse! I detected that it's `rubygems-0.8.11-r6' that |

hangs when it reads the gem tarfile. |

So I decided to install version 0.9.4 of that. Now the |

installation of rubygems itself hangs. |

First, I thought this was caused by the old rubygems. So I |

deinstalled that. Now I have neither! |
