3 I just had a quick look at your message, I think I may provide you a solution:

5 It all depends on which driver is called first - so may control this by adding
6 the modules of your two soundcards in /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6. Add
7 the one you need to work with Gnome first and the other one second. I had the
8 same problem with my two cards and was able to get the right card to
9 get /dev/dsp1 instead of /dev/dsp2.
