19 Drat, mine is 0x08701011. That means for some reason it's not doing an
20 early microcode update in the kernel.

22 I'll have to figure out why it's not applying. I followed the same steps
23 for my Intel-based laptop and it works... not sure why it isn't loading.

25 It could be that the 3950x is not defined in the firmware and not
26 applying but I have no way to confirm that.
