15 No problem insofar but the fact that disc names are given at boot
16 depending on drives attached.
17 For example if you have sda, sdb and sdc, if you remove sda, then sdb
18 and sdc will be renamed and sdc will be missing.

21 AFAIK Knoppix livecd can't see hard drives attached to Promise, but grml
22 is very handy, as it comes with LVM tools too: http://www.grml.org/.

24 Side note: don't trust RAID setting of the motherboard and use Linux
25 software RAID. Just google a bit, and you will see a lot of advices of
