21 Whilst it would be nice if LABELs were documented in Gentoo's installation guide and other docs, I seem to recall there was a reasonable explanation for not doing so.

23 Meanwhile LABELs have been fairly comprehensively discussed on this list, and IMO there's very little mystery to them. I'm pretty sure that Dale now *is* using LABELs, and has been for some time (e.g. see [1]). IMO your criticism is misleading.
