12 usb-storage driver.". You're going to have to disable it...

14 'make menuconfig' your kernel, and disable Device Drivers->Block devices->Low

17 Also, while you're at it, make sure Device Drivers->USB support->USB Mass
18 Storage support is enabled, and also Device Drivers->SCSI device support->SCSI

21 Then, your iPod should show up as /dev/sda (or /dev/sdb, if you have another
22 SCSI disk or a SATA disk), and you should hopefully should be able to eject it...
