18 You can boot off of the cd and build a kernel immediately or you can copy the cd's kernel. When booted from the cd, the kernel is found at /mnt/cdrom/isolinux/gentoo-em64t and corresponding modules are in /lib/modules. The install cd and stages are available from the /releases/amd64/2005.1-r1/ directory on the mirrors.
