I'm not absolutely certain, but I vaguely remember a decision for |

gentoo-sources regarding which would be marked stable. It might be that |

only LTS kernels will ever get marked stable. I think it was because |

the non-LTS releases were just too fast and frequent to allow the |
16 |
stabilization process to work well. It isn't an actual comment on |

stability, but a result of work-flow. |
