12 I'm     not absolutely certain, but I vaguely remember a decision for
13 gentoo-sources regarding which would be marked stable.  It might be that
14 only LTS kernels will ever get marked stable.  I think it was because
15 the non-LTS releases were just too fast and frequent to allow the
16 stabilization process to work well.  It isn't an actual comment on
17 stability, but a result of work-flow.
