Hi, |
2 |
|
3 |
I'm still struggling with xorg + hal |
4 |
|
5 |
Now, my PS/2 keyboard translates certain keys in a strange |
6 |
way, e.g. 'insert' 'home' 'PgUp' 'PgDn' etc. |
7 |
|
8 |
Xorg.0.log contains the following lines which I don't understand |
9 |
(II) config/hal: Adding input device AT Translated Set 2 keyboard |
10 |
(**) AT Translated Set 2 keyboard: always reports core events |
11 |
(**) AT Translated Set 2 keyboard: Device: "/dev/input/event0" |
12 |
(WW) AT Translated Set 2 keyboard: device file already in use. Ignoring. |
13 |
(II) UnloadModule: "evdev" |
14 |
(EE) PreInit returned NULL for "AT Translated Set 2 keyboard" |
15 |
(EE) config/hal: NewInputDeviceRequest failed |
16 |
|
17 |
|
18 |
Any help is very much appreciated, |
19 |
thanks, |
20 |
Helmut. |

P.S. |
24 |
|
25 |
I tried both drivers |
26 |
kbd and evdev (since my mouse uses evdev) |
