26 Ah! I see what's happened to me (at least in part). When I run the control
27 center, it prompts me for the root password, which I gave it. And which
28 means my root now has those settings. This seems like a mistake in the KDE
29 world - it seems like there's a mix of things in the control center that are
30 system-like settings, and user preferences.
