83 Ok, so you're using an Intel graphics chipset, managed via the
84 kernel's i915 module. According to Wikipedia, the 82915G, GV and GL
85 models are circa 2004/2005, and so are very old. It's very possible
86 you've encountered a regression. I had something similar happen a few
87 years ago with my 845-based system.
