Hi all! |
2 |
|
3 |
Lately emerge sync behaves strange on all of my Gentoo boxes that use a |
4 |
non-standard temp dir for Portage. |
5 |
|
6 |
The according /etc/make.conf's contain the following lines (amongst others): |
7 |
|
8 |
PORTAGE_TMPDIR=/workdir/portage/tmp |
9 |
PORTDIR=/workdir/portage |
10 |
DISTDIR=${PORTDIR}/distfiles |
11 |
PKGDIR=${PORTDIR}/packages |
12 |
PORT_LOGDIR=/workdir/portage/log/ |
13 |
|
14 |
These settings were fine for almost a year now. |
15 |
|
16 |
But recently I recognized the following messages at the end of an emerge |
17 |
sync: |
18 |
|
19 |
: |
20 |
deleting tmp/timestamp.x |
21 |
deleting tmp/timestamp.chk |
22 |
deleting tmp/timestamp |
23 |
deleting directory tmp |
24 |
: |
25 |
>>> Updating Portage cache... !!! Stating source file failed... |
26 |
movefile() |
27 |
!!! [Errno 2] No such file or directory: |
28 |
'/workdir/portage/tmp/timestamp.chk' |
29 |
...done! |
30 |
|
31 |
Well at least the last error message seems to be reasonable ... |
32 |
|
33 |
Does anyone have a similar experience? |
34 |
