Subject: [gentoo-user] libtool: link: warning: ... seems to be moved

I understand this is just a warning but has Gentoo made itself somehow
not so friendly for us common folk who are not programmers? As
probably many know, I've been running Gentoo for 3-4 years. I've never
had problems like I've had recently with Gentoo. Excuse my frustration
but many things seem somehow way less clear these days. Am I'm doing
something wrong in configuration or there's something wrong with an
ebuild?
Here's the latest:
libtool: link: warning:
`/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.6/../../..//'
seems to be moved
libtool: link: warning:
`/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.6/../../..//'
seems to be moved
libtool: link: warning:
`/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.6/../../..//'
seems to be moved
This comes as part of a more or less emerge world operation which
updated (I think) gcc and glibc and is now rebuilding Evolution. This
machine is my dad's and is very remote from me. It's been up and
running almost 3 years now. Evolution has stopped working correctly. I
used to believe I could get things fixed. I'm now far less optimistic.
Sorry to be so bitchy.
Unclear,
Mark
