I understand this is just a warning but has Gentoo made itself somehow |
2 |
not so friendly for us common folk who are not programmers? As |
3 |
probably many know, I've been running Gentoo for 3-4 years. I've never |
4 |
had problems like I've had recently with Gentoo. Excuse my frustration |
5 |
but many things seem somehow way less clear these days. Am I'm doing |
6 |
something wrong in configuration or there's something wrong with an |
7 |
ebuild? |

Here's the latest: |

libtool: link: warning: |

`/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.6/../../..//libart_lgpl_2.la' |

seems to be moved |
14 |
libtool: link: warning: |
15 |
`/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.6/../../..//libpangoft2-1.0.la' |

seems to be moved |

libtool: link: warning: |

`/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.6/../../..//libedataserverui-1.2.la' |

seems to be moved |

This comes as part of a more or less emerge world operation which |
22 |
updated (I think) gcc and glibc and is now rebuilding Evolution. This |
23 |
machine is my dad's and is very remote from me. It's been up and |
24 |
running almost 3 years now. Evolution has stopped working correctly. I |
25 |
used to believe I could get things fixed. I'm now far less optimistic. |
26 |
|
27 |
Sorry to be so bitchy. |

Unclear, |
